Prusa i3 Mk2.5

on loan

Status

  • 2019-10-28:
    • works and prints beautifully without problems or issues or things that needed fixing (tested with PrusaSlicer and SD-Card)
    • filament sensor PAT9125 does not work and needs to be disabled in firmware
      • either sensor is dead or not supported in MK2.5 Firmware, since prusa only sells this type for MK3

How To Print

  1. Slice a .stl
  2. Print .gocde using SD-Card or via USB

Slice

  1. Use PrusaSlicer on Würfel
    1. Select the Prusa i3 MK2.5 Profile
    2. Select Material (probably PrusamentPETG)
    3. Slice
  2. Save GCODE to Disk
  1. Eject SD-Card from Printer and put into Würfel
    1. if SD-Card Reader on front of Würfel does not work, disconnect and reconnect USB-Cable
  2. Copy to SD-Card
  3. Unmount SD-Card
  4. Plug SD-Card back into Printer
  5. Start print from SD-Card in printer menu
  1. Start Pronterface (Pronsole in Graphics Menu)
  2. Load .gcode file saved earlier
  3. ensure USB-cable is connected
  4. Start print
